Our new proprietary protein blend is a carefully chosen blend of cold processed, ultra filtered undenatured Micellar Casein, undenatured Egg White protein, undenatured Whey Protein and Digezyme enzymes. It provides 40 grams of protein and peptides, for added benefit we add Lactospore sporogene pro-biotics, the same type of pro-biotics often found in yoghurt and health drinks, but in a very stable form.

An organic whole grain source of carbohydrates.

For years now most meal replacements have used maltodextrin as a carbohydrate source, in fact previous formulations of Progen used maltodextrin. However, it has two major drawbacks. Firstly it contains absolutely no fibre, and secondly it has a high glycemic index meaning that it raises blood sugar levels very quickly.

Organic agriculture is a safe, sustainable farming system, producing healthy crops and livestock without damage to the environment. It avoids the use of artificial chemical fertilisers and pesticides on the land, relying instead on developing a healthy, fertile soil and growing a mixture of crops. Organic is a term defined by law and all organic food production and processing is governed by a strict set of rules.

Not all MRP's contain slow release Micellar Casein and Egg White isolate: Our Micellar Casein is made with minimal processing. In fact, it's probably the least processed of all dairy proteins. Skimmed milk is ultra filtered to remove virtually all fat and lactose, the protein that remains is pure native milk protein containing undenatured micellar casein and a small percentage of native whey peptides. Egg white protein has long been a staple protein source for athletes and bodybuilders due to their excellent amino acid profile and their high biological value. Reflex only use undenatured egg whites which are derived from the freshest eggs and tested to be free from salmonella. Egg white isolate is preferable to whole egg as it contains virtually no fat or carbohydrate and it has a medium absorption rate.

Does NOT contain cheaper mineral oxides: Magnesium Oxide and other metal oxides are unsuitable for the Reflex product range and are not used in Progen. Iron Oxide for example is rust.

Progen ONLY contains Amino Acid Chelated Minerals: Reflex only use expensive chelated minerals which are bonded to amino acids as well as the patented technology Bioperine providing bio availability for superior absorption.

New improved Progen contains natural Vitamin K2 and superior Vitamin B12: Vitamin K2 is the most biologically active form of vitamin K. It is studied for its role in bone health and cardiac function, whilst Vitamin B12 as Methylcobalamin is the most bio available and best utilised form of vitamin B12.

Very few brands use enzymes or pro-biotics: Reflex use Digezyme enzymes to aid the digestion of protein, fats and milk sugars. Lactospore pro-biotics are added to provide friendly intestinal bacteria, similar to those found in yoghurt drinks advertised on television.

Some brands don't use the additional ingredients: We use anti-oxidants, Opti MSM, Linumlife (flaxseed), Choline and Betaine to make Progen a superior product.
